I bought some steel from a guy who was cleaning out his shop, so I now have some very large (4") angle, 5/8" plate-10" wide, 2" round pipe, 1" and 1 1/8th" bar and some 1/4 plate, 4'x4'. His name is Joe Barnes and he is in Ballground. Nice guy, call him at 770-893-4803. Prices seemed reasonable. The steel has been outside so its a bit rusty. But it could be cleaned up or treated with rust converter. I don't know if a power hammer could be modified to use the channel, but it also might be useful for anyone wanting to make a press or something else needing a lot of strength.
