A trip to the mountains

First off, I want to thank the Zieglers for hosting the Dec. pot luck dinner. Very gracious hosts. Those of you that have hosted meetings before realize the work involved in putting one on. But it is gratifing. Imagine cooking a whole turkey AND a ham, biscuits and gravy, punch, etc.,etc., plus decorating for Christmas. Of course John had to clean up the shop, too.
Those of you that missed it, missed a great social and feed. It was good to see the guys from Brasstown Blacksmiths, too. 'Course it's a long way to Brasstown,N.C. from west central Ga., but car pooling works. Great IITH,too.
Thanks,Zieglers.

Mountains

I wish I could have been there but the mail must go through. Especially this time of year.

Trip to the mountains

I want to second the thanks to the Zieglers--it was a wonderful party and a beautiful location. And to you iron-in-the-hat losers, I did not cheat!

Let's all look forward to a prosperous, happy New Year, and let's move Alex Bealer Blacksmiths forward.

By the way, my neighbor found my runaway dog and I bailed him out of the animal shelter this morning--he was very glad to be home (and I was glad to have him).
