Daniell Mableton blacksmith shop mentioned in The Art of BlacksmithingI'm reading The Art of Blacksmithing and what do I see toward the end of chapter 4? Last paragraph, page 113 talks about "odd jobs to maintain a living income" and sharpening saws. Top of page 114 Bealer tells of "a blacksmith shop in Mableton, Georgia, operated by the Daniell brothers, which had a most ingenious setting machine designed and made in the shop for the use of the Daniells." How cool is that? {BIG GRIN!} previous forum topic | next forum topic | printer friendly version
