Hey everyone! At the meeting today at Wayne Marten's shop, Lance Zeigler one of our long-time active members announced he is having a shop-raising next Saturday. He needs extra hands to help get the trusses up this coming Saturday 9/22/2007. Starting early around 7:30 - 8:00 am. {Want to get the work done before lunch - which is a low country boil lunch)
Come on' and help a fellow blacksmith out and also help build us an additional north Georiga location to have an Alex Bealer meeting!

Directions to his shop to be are:
From I-75 North
Take Exit #268 onto I-575 North, go 30.9 miles
I-575 becomes Zell Miller Parkway (GA-5 North), go 24.9 miles
Turn left on US-76, go 5.8 miles
Turn right on Pleasant Gap Road, go 1.5 miles
Turn right on CR-58, go 1.6 miles
Turn right on Rodgers Creek Road, go 1.6 miles
Turn right on Bates Drive
less than 1/10th of mile at 473 Bates Drive, Ellijay, GA 30540-0700
