Festival season

The wife and I used to go to craft shows but haven't been to any for a while. I never saw many blacksmiths at any of those shows anyway.

What shows and/or festivals are coming up that I might get to see some smithing in person? I think Yellow Daisy is this weekend...right?

On another note I put in for vacation for October 20 and November 17 so I could come to the Bealer meetings for those months. I hope to finally meet some of you there.

smithing

Your best bet for smithing this weekend is the Ala. Annual Conference in Tannehill State Park, Fri.,Sat.,And Sun. am. About 250 blacksmiths getting together selling, swapping, learning, lying, beating,and eating. See their website.

Tannehill State Park

OK...wheres the pictures?

For that matter...wheres the Madison pictures?

I'm thinking about taking a little motorcycle trip up to the QuadState Conference in 2 weeks. Anybody else going?
