A good primer for ironwork is Benjamin Moore Green Primer. When the cover coat chips, which it will, the underlying color looks like patina and causes fewer call backs.

Shop Air PipingI have wanted to add air piping to several locations in my shop, but have been intimidated by the safety issue with PVC and with my unfamiliarity with doing it in iron or copper pipe. In the September issue of "American Woodworker" there is an article on doing it with flexible hose and I intend to try it. If anyone is interested I could make a photocopy of the article for myself and cut out the original article and put it into a binder for the library. previous forum topic | next forum topic | printer friendly version
