Review:

*This book is in the ABBA library*

WHAT A GREAT PICTURE BOOK!

This is a phenomenal collection of photographs of antique iron implements. Great hardware and utensil stuff. Pages and pages of certain items, lke andirons, provide study in different styles for different purposes.

Occasional sections are heavier in cast items than in forged items, and bladesmiths will be disappointed, but traditional crafters will find this book a wealth of good pics and design ideas. If you're excited by looking at fifty *different* flesh forks to help you visualize possibilities, this is something you need to check out.

There is an introduction (26 pages) at the front on historical methods, but the real strength of this book is the photographs. You must borrow this book.
