Tip:

Start a notebook with all the things you make. EVERY TIME before you start, record the size and length, then measure how much you cut off. That will help when that customer says 'like that but two inches longer'. I promise you as the years go by, you won't remember what stock you used for those 200 things you did and knew you would always remember. Use a 3-ring binder so you can add to it from demo notes. Also, as you progress you might 'test the limits' by changing to a smaller stock
